Hadn't been out on the front porch five minutes before kitty cat came walking up. He was pretty wet and hungry when I got home. Hurricane came by last night and been raining all day. Windy until about an hour ago but looks like it may rain all night. Gonna be soggy tomorrow. At least it'll be easy to pull those white poplars I left growing all summer. If I can rip out enough of the roots it should slow them down some next spring. Looks like I'm gonna be in all night, be lucky to sneak a cigar about midnight.
