Star Dreck The fantasy universe of the unwashed. SF exposure is generally limited to Star Trek and Star Wars and the innumerble permutations and derivations thereof. Thus true SF such as Dune, while being visited occasionally, do not become such lengthy franchises. The intellectual limitations are a barrier to the wider universe.
