Medical-industrial-complex   The incestuous network of relationships among medical industry entities, operating in a manner simlar to the military-industrial complex. In the latter case the funds are extracted from productive citizens by the government. In the former case most funding is insurance and Medicare (paid for by productive citizens) and the government through Medicaid, which is also paid for by taxpayers.
